"works," those compromising, those indulging in the "lusts of the flesh," intoxicated by the "cares of this world, "not" watching and waiting," religious, but whose hearts were stony ground for the personal Word of the Lord to them -- doing their own will and thinking it to be God's will; having a "form of godliness, but denying the power thereof." Still all believers will be Raptured 3 1/2 years later after the "last trump". (Rev. 11 vs. 15-18)
7) After the Firstfruits Rapture of the overcomers, look for Satan to empower musicians and clergy to assist in getting people to accept the "Mark of the Beast." Daniel (3, v. 5) portrays how Nebuchadnezzar sets up his image (foreshadowing the Anti-Christ's image) and states: "that at what time ye hear the sound of the coronet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, dulcimer, and all kinds of music, ye shall fall down and worship the golden image." We know from Ezekiel (28, vs. 13-15) that Satan was created with musical powers -- "the workmanship of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day thou wast created." Satan can give anyone he chooses the kingdoms of this world, and can anoint people with musical ability; this is why the ecumenical, New Age Gospel of Love will be propagated by musicians and apostate clergy. At Woodstock, festival goers could not use U.S. currency, but instead had to use Woodstock money and wear a marked band on their wrists, possibly conditioning people to accept the Mark of the Beast (666). I believe many "Church" leaders will be riding the Beast system as "the Whore of Babylon."
And so it behooves us to examine our walk with God. Are we merely exercising religious rituals, or do we know, that we know, that we know Him? The great "I Am" of Moses, the "Alpha and Omega" of Revelation, "The Everlasting Father", "The Prince of Peace", "The Son of Man", "The Ancient of Days", "The King of Kings", "The Lord of Lords".
Satan would prosper the church of Christ right into blindness. Let us not worry about building ourselves worldly kingdoms. Your retirement fund is going into a bag full of nuclear holes. While there's still time, let us seek Him and use everything at our disposal to further His Kingdom, laying up for ourselves treasures in Heaven where "neither moth nor rust consume." Let us set our hearts on the Kingdom of Heaven -- the will of God, and the Upward Calling of God in Christ Jesus.
