ter still to others) that they like Peter are sometimes "talking out of their hats," (so to speak) rather than relaying the "burden of the Lord."
This certainly reveals one of the greatest abuses found among Evangelicals today. Brothers and sisters in Christ, the anointed of God are just men and women like yourselves. Would you trust or even dare to believe that every fleeting feeling, and thought, that passed through your mind came directly from the throne of God? Absolutely not -- so be very, very careful. For even if Billy Graham himself comes up to you and tells you "I believe it is God's will for you to do this or that, (though we should certainly weigh his advice) -- it is God alone who must confirm His will for us by "two or more witnesses." Let us learn to follow the Holy Spirit instead of holy men. (See 1 Kings Chap 13).
The soul realm originates in ourselves -- it includes our intellect, emotions, thoughts, fears, philosophy, religiosity, loves, hates, etc.,etc. This is a realm of dichotomous activity; that which is Spirit however, is that which is Holy (other than) and originates in God. It is outside of ourselves. In fact, we are not even able to enter into the Spirit until we are born again -- then God's Spirit resurrects our dead Spirits (which died because of Adam's sin) and reanimates our souls, so that we may then know God. But I must reiterate that this primal salvation experience still doesn't make us spiritual people -- for our old nature (our flesh and our souls) must be put off daily and our new nature fed and cultivated; through prayer, study, and fellowship with other believers; but primarily through personal communion with God. Soul activity may be altruistic in conceptualization but its primary flaw rests in us trying to please (or serve) God, using our own methodology rather than His. It is us reaching up to God -- asking Him to bless our ideas rather than letting Him run the whole show. At its root, is a cornerstone luciferian metaphysics, that says, I will ascend -- I will do this, I will do that -- rather than seeking and receiving God's direction and Lordship. All false religions share this common directive error and many "Christian" activities do so as well. For this is man reaching up -- trying to pull God down to Himself, rather than God reaching down to pull man up towards Himself. That which springs from our souls is "earthy" (1 Cor. 15 v. 47). That which springs from Jesus is Spirit, or Heavenly. John (10 v. 1) declares "He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber."
Satanic religion, all false religion and all soul-born activity is that which tries to attain and to please God by mortal means. Christianity, on the other hand, dismisses all these efforts as unacceptable to God and declares that there is only one way to God through Jesus: however, it is sad to see how many within the church do not recognize the final outcome in God's line of reasoning, and are still attempting (after salvation) to please God on their own terms using their own means; by literally directing themselves as to how, when, where, and why they will serve God -- thus making themselves gods. This is soul-born religious exercise and those producing these works will be rejected at Christ's first coming from the reward of Firstfruits Rapture. "That which is born of the flesh is flesh and that which is born of the Spirit is Spirit"
