block, God's answers. In war, men often use radio jammers to confuse or make incomprehensible radio transmissions between troops. In addition, enemy troops may disseminate disinformation, by impersonating and sending false reports to enemy receivers. Satan's game is very similar, for his army is deflecting, interfering with and through the diabolical powers of the occult and witchcraft, he actually tries to turn all of our blessings from God into curses.
Paul, in Acts. Chap 13, encountered a sorcerer named "BarJesus" which means "son of Jesus". This wolf in sheep's clothing withstood Paul and actually was spiritually hindering a high official from accepting the Lord. But "Paul, filled with the Holy Ghost" prophesied and sent blindness upon this occultic empowered deceiver and then the deputy believed.
Christ said, the keys of the kingdom of heaven are: "whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth, shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven." Keys are for unlocking closed doors. Thus, Christ is revealing unto us, the process by which we can enter His Kingdom; by binding the powers of darkness over countries, cities, towns and individuals, we can render Satan's ministers impotent, and then loose God's angels to assist in bringing the Lord's will and kingdom "on earth as it is in heaven."
(Math 12 v. 29) reiterates just this point, "how can one enter into a strong man's house and spoil his goods except he first bind the strong man and then he will spoil his house."
The strong man is Satan; he and his demons are holding God's people hostage; but by binding his powers (through prayer) we can spoil his goods and win back to the Lord that which is rightfully His.
I recently was told of a local attorney who is a Satanist and has an upside down cross in his office. Many ignore this occult phenomena as merely hocus pocus, but Satanists read prayers backwards, and offer sacrifices of animals and humans to the devil so they can gain occultic power. Through occultic ceremonies these dark ministers seek to reverse our prayers and the answers to our prayers, thereby interfering with, and destroying, the kingdom and people of God.
The Bible says "my people perish for lack of wisdom." These occultic powers do indeed exist and the frightening reality is that they indeed work. Just as Paul had to spiritually strike the sorcerer (who held the deputy bound in unbelief) we too must bind, assault, reverse, and destroy all the powers of darkness, so we can loose the kingdom of God upon this earth and upon God's people. Dan. (11 vs. 38-39) mentions the fact that the Anti-Christ himself will worship a "strange god," a "god of forces" (or "fortresses"). This strange god is, of course, the devil himself, who will empower the Anti-Christ through the black arts and rituals of the occult. The Anti-Christ is alive right now; probably in Greece, Macedonia or Syria, (as the book of Daniel seems
