          John the Baptist wouldn't make the dress code in most churches today. Satan has deluded us into believing that all God requires of us is that we attend church once or twice a week, tithe to some ever expanding building fund, improve our public persona and moral demeanor in the community, and be an inoffensive friend to the world.

          "Friendship with the world is enmity with God."
Contrary to popular opinion, Christ would be neither a Republican nor a Democrat -- this is the leaven of Herod.

          Scripture is rife with examples of spiritual giants who deviated from God's perfect plan for their lives and in so doing suffered tremendous personal loss -- Samson and David immediately come to mind.

          The elder brother (in the parable of the Prodigal Son) kept his father's house, and the prodigal wasted it, but God gave His authority to him who ventured out -- Not to him who nestled in religious security.
         
How quickly we accept honor from men, and how reticent we are to bear the cross of Christ. Success in God's eyes may mean carrying a cross in obscurity rather than exaltation to Christian superstar status.

          Works (we have learned) can either be Divinely inspired or soulish in origin; the understanding of which will help us produce works which are God ordained and approved. Ignorance is no excuse in the courts of both God and man.

          Somehow, the Modernists traded the eternal, all loving, all knowing God of the Bible for some aloof, dogmatic, anthropomorphic deity (of their own making) who after having started creation in motion -- became bored, and so decided to amuse himself in some far distant galaxy to await His creations demise.

          Do we dare to ascribe culpability to God, for man's inhumanity to man, or nature's random outbursts of senseless tragedy? (Both being the result of our primal adamic fall.)

        This dialectical universe of good and bad, positive and negative, reveals a root Satanic conflict that demands not only divine intervention but divine retribution as well.
           
          God, self will and the devil are on a cosmic collision course, to which we are both eyewitnesses and unwilling participants. Truly, the Bible is a dangerous document: in the hands of the devil kingdoms have been built and destroyed; men have fought wars, murdering and torturing millions, all in the name of the Prince of Peace -- Jesus Christ.
